Fifa 14 gives tips to score and defend better in game

tiers of gear added in patch 2.1
While this was originally supposed to be “short”, additional steps and tiers of gear added in patch 2.1 have turned this into quite a long post. For people who are experienced at MMO gear treadmills, or simply want a more concise overview of the tiers of gear available in FFXIV, check out my REALLY SHORT GUIDE to item levels.
Introduction
As I was writing my “Gear Conscience” post, I came to realise that it wasn’t actually being all that helpful in giving hints for how I, personally, would gear up.
So here’s my mini-guide for a fresh level 50 job, post patch 2.1!
Step One: Grand Company Weapon
Square Enix quite sensibly changed the quest to hit the third tier of ranks with your Grand Company to require an Aurum Vale run, rather than finishingAmdapor Keep. You can do Aurum Vale from level 47 onwards, and while it is a bit of a pain in the arse of an instance, it will mean that you can get your Grand Company weapon to equip as soon as you hit 50. Pretty much everyone agrees that having an appropriate level weapon is the biggest increase to your effectiveness regardless of Final Fantasy Xiv Gil.
Step Two: Finish Your Artifact Gear
Now you’ve hit 50, your final Job Quest will have opened up. Go complete it to finish off your Job’s story and get your final piece of Artifact Gear, the body piece, as well as your final Job ability.
Step Three: Finish Your Story
Now you’re decked out in full AF gear and have your GC weapon in hand, you can finish off your Main Story. You’ll do Castrum Meridianum and The Praetorium. The former is a trash and cutscene-heavy instance for 8 people; the latter is boss-heavy and features some of the most epic music in the game. Each of the instances rewards you with 100 Tomestones of Philosophy. Save these.
Step Four: The Relic Reborn
A Relic Reborn is a fun questline that opens up after you’ve completed the main story, which leads to the forging of an iconic relic weapon for your Job. Most of the duties and dungeons for this quest line require that you be on the Job you want the relic weapon for, and it is pretty damned time consuming for your first go, so be sure you’re certain of the Job you want.
The first few steps can be done fresh at 50 in your basic AF gear. You can easily get the Dhorme Chimera out of the way as well. The step for the Amdapor Glyph, however, may require you to be a little more geared, unless you have a great Free Company group to help you out. So let’s move on!
Step Five: iLVL 55
Post patch 2.1, there are two dungeons to get you onto the gear ladder. Both The Wanderer’s Palace and Amdapor Keep have been retuned so that they are fairly easily completable in Artifact Gear. If you want to konw more newest information, skill, guide or picture, come to: ffxiv gil
ARR Haukke Manor Dungeon Guide
Like previous dungeons, it is designed for a party consisting of 4 members and has a time limit of 90 minutes which is more than enough to complete ff14 gil!
You also need the level 28 story quest ‘Skeletons in her closet’ to access this dungeon. The level requirement is from 29 to 31 and anyone above level 31 will be synced down to 31 until the dungeon ends.
FFXIV Online: ARR Haukke Manor Dungeon
Location: The dungeon of Haukke Manor is located in the Central Shroud near the White Wolf gate of Gridania.
Haukke Manor is a dungeon consisting of three different stages and tons of wandering mobs such as the Manor Maidservants. This is the dungeon where the real challenges begin to start so you’ll need to utilize everything you have learned up till now if you wish accomplish at it.
As stated before, the dungeon has three stages and these are the First floor, the basement and finally the second floor where you encounter the boss of the dungeon Lady Amandine.
Haukke Manor: First Floor
The first floor is fairly linear but you need to be cautious as there are tons of patrolling mobs in the area. In the first floor you will mostly encounter Manor Maidservants. These mobs initiate the fight with a ground targeted PBAOE ability which can be dodged and also interrupted if your timing is correct.
Other than the patrolling Maidservants, you will encounter packs of bats, mushroom, and slime which you can take out with ease.
Manor Claviger
The first mini boss fight of this dungeon is against the Manor Claviger. You will encounter him in his room which is located in the center of the first floor.
The Manor Claviger has three main abilities which he utilizes throughout the fight; the first of these is a cleave attack and its damage output is insane. While doing good damage even to your tank, it can be fatal to your lightly armored party members if not properly avoided. His second ability is Void Fire II which he targets at random members of the party.
Note: It will target members which stand at a distance more often.
His third ability is his Dark Mist which is his PBAOE ability and has moderate damage output. Similar to his Void Fire, this can also be interrupted or dodged.

Unbeaten Raid Taken Offline
The Turn 5 bug we spoke about on the last XIV Reborn seems to be larger than originally thought. ffxiv gold
Funny thing about in game bugs. Once people know they’re there they can tend to find them a lot easier. This seems to be the case with the Turn 5 bug in the Binding Coil of Bahamut raid. Currently this final challenge in FFXIV’s hardest raid content has yet to be toppled…legitimately. Last week we reported on a reddit post that called out a bug in the final Twintania fight. The guild in question immoblized the boss at about 80% and was able to burn the rest of the fight quite easily. They reported the bug and wanted their fellow gamers to know that they in no way were claiming a “World First” kill.
While the guild said the bug was an extraordinary set of accidental circumstances, it seems more and more raid groups stumbled upon the Turn 5 bug and Square Enix has now decided they have to do something about it.
Early this morning (4 AM Pacific time), Turn 5 was taken offline and any raid groups that were in the instance were kicked out. While an English post has not been created yet, there is a Japanese post on the Lodestone that calls out the emergency maintenance to stomp out the Turn 5 bug. It also seems to indicate that the fight could be offline until early next week as the reactivation date called out in the post is 10/15.
Looks like raiders will have to find something else to do this week. I’ll be sure to keep you updated with a link to an English post if one should appear later today.

Patch 2.2 Launch Date Set
Today we get a rather lengthy written Letter from the Producer AND a Patch 2.2 release date!
Well it’s official! According to the most recent Letter from the Producer, Patch 2.2 will be dropping into FFXIV on March 27th. That’s a Thursday for those of you keeping score so it appears we can’t bank on Tuesdays being the magic days when trying to guess release dates!
As if that wasn’t enough, we also got some added tidbits regarding the glamour prism. There’s a few rules to consider if you were hoping to go hog wild on the appearance changes:
They can be used on all gear the same or lower equipment level than your current gear.
After using a glamour prism, the gear being copied can be entrusted to your retainer.
